Cubase 13 Mouse Movement is Annoying

I’ve been using Cubase for years now, and my latest version is Cubase 11.

Recently, I decided to give Cubase 13 a try, and I have to say, the changes to mouse movements are quite annoying. Previously, I could easily zoom in and out by simply moving the mouse up and down, but now they’ve altered it, making it much more cumbersome.

Additionally, I’ve noticed that I can no longer use the shift-up shortcut to move an octave up in the MIDI editor.

I’m left wondering why they would change things like this. People get used to certain workflows and shortcuts to enhance their speed and efficiency with their DAWs, so it’s frustrating when those familiar features are altered without apparent reason.

I expect, you had to click somewhere. Where?

This is a known issue. It happens, if the Steinberg Hub remains open. This is going to be fixed in the next maintenance update.
