Cubase 13 pro and “no valid license for Halion 6”

I’ll be more specific about the problem I’ve had. Last Thursday, when I finished my session in Cubase and pressed “quit Cubase” the program didn’t respond and after a few minutes I had to restart Windows. When I reloaded Cubase everything was fine except Halion 6 which said “no valid license for Halion 6” it’s not the first time this has happened to me, but this time I can’t restore it. Could you help me and what can I do to prevent it from happening again? I was thinking of upgrading to Halion 7 but I have more and more doubts due to its instability.
I think the problem with Cubase closing could come from Halion 6, but this is beyond my knowledge
Thanks for your help

Hi,

Isn’t your USB-eLicenser broken?

Can you try to unplug it and plug it back? Our could you try another USB port?

Thank you very much. I have done what you advised me and it has worked perfectly. I now have Halion 6 along with Cubase
Another thing that worries me is about the USB licenser, which apparently will stop working in the year 2025. I have six Steinberg products that work with this USB licenser. Should I be worried? Or should I do something beforehand? Thank you again. Thank you very much for your help

Hi,

If you have a suspicion that your USB-eLicenser might be broken, buy a new one and transfer all licenses before 2025 to the new one.
