Cubase 13 pro disconnecting mackie controller

windows 10 latest update and last bild
cubase pro 13
mackie controler is icon qcon pro G 2

hi this has just happened and never had this problem b4 >:

new project… mixing.
random losses of mackie control (qcon g2)
so far i have
rebooted
cold start.
changed the usb cable
changed the usb port
checked power to usb hubs for sleep (not realy applicable because i have that option turned off in my power management scheme in windows )
i have not been in my studio for at least a month so this is totally new , i have not had these issues previously ever
any ideers guys ?

Do you use it as Mackie Control, or do you use any MIDI Remote script, please?

its just as a mackie controller .
with added macros in the alloted spaces…
from date of purchase until now no problems “Ever”
i have just installed the last cubase update … lets see if this helps ?
however i cant see why it should as i mentioned i have never had this problem before

now i have a dead unit …
i tried a firmware update and it crashed during the update … dead…
now its junk ??

Was it the firmware update that fixed it? I’m dealing with the exact same issue here. Icon Pro dropping out of Cubase 13 after Win 10 update last week.

yes and no
i had to send it back to icon, what happened i dont know but it lost contact during the firmware update thus rendering the unit unusable.
icon then reflashed it and returned it to me , works great ever since

i am thinking my mobo had some serious issues with the usb bus which was causing the dropouts
