Cubase 13 pro "Heap Corruption"

I’ve seen the winver issue on dumps before. It appears that the Edition Build lab line just lists the base version of Windows 10 or 11.
I typed vertarget into the WinDbg command line and got 19045, which, as you know, is 22H2.
I get the feeling that WinDbg is skunkworks in the same way that PerfMon is, or was. Almost there but not quite.

It’s not bad if you use the updated version in the Store, but I haven’t seen the mismatch before.

Regardless, it seems like a Kontakt issue. Your advice about reinstalling the runtime is appropriate (although many issues end up coming down to the ucrt because it’s the implementation for most C functions), but I also wonder if something isn’t messed up in the Kontakt install.

For OP: VC Runtime installs here. Use the Latest Supported version.

I updated my windows so it is the latest version as you listed. So far I’ve had no issue, but there is a gnawing feeling in the back of my mind that it’s not really a solution and the problem will persist anyways at some point. I already have the latest version of vc runtime so I reinstalled it and restarted my pc. I’ll contact Native Instruments and see if they can figure anything out first. Thank you both for your help so far
