Cubase 13 Pro keeps freezing after Windows 11 update

After a recent Windows 11 update (2 days ago), Cubase Pro 13 keeps crashing - it freezes and I can do nothing, but the music keeps playing. I tried to close and open Cubase, so as the project file several times but the problem continues. What should I do next?

Here are some of the CrashDumps files (I have a lot more…)

Cubase 13.0.51 64bit 2025.3.25 7.50.19.966-freezedump.dmp (2.8 MB)

Cubase 13.0.51 64bit 2025.3.26 7.27.53.825-freezedump.dmp (1.5 MB)

they both seems to be related to a midi device. So maybe unplug and try to run without that.. then replug if all is good again. I am no expert on these files but atleast I know how to open them

Was this the feature update (24H)?
Could be this issue that is addressed in the W11 insider program beta…might be best to roll back the update and give it a while for a patch to make it into the main release

Audio

Fixed an issue with the WDMAud system driver that was causing applications to crash after recent improvements to MIDI performance.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I Tried to unplug and replug my midi keyboard and it seems the problem has been solved :0

I’m not sure which update it is, as I can’t find any update record on 25 May… the update happened automatically when I turn on the computer on that day morning. But it’s probably not a feature update as there is no record about 24H update shown in the Windows Update record page…

Anyway, still super thanks for your help! I will update more details once I find out more information about this
