Cubase 13 Pro mic recording to the top of mp3

Hello, please advise how to do the following recording scenario in Cubase 13 Pro

  1. Import mp3 audio file to Cubase
  2. Check to which track mp3 file was added
  3. Record audio with microphone to the top of mp3 file
  4. Play Cubase track(s) microphone audio singing with mp3 background

Do you want to sing along with the mp3 track? If so, you will put the imported mp3 on one track and create another audio track which you will record your voice on.
Playback both and set the levels to your liking.
