Oké, then that can not be an isue.
I asume your protection is oké and it is not some other software that give a conflict.
So, try to follow the steps for your hardware, if the crash occurs in Cubase when the NVIDIA card is not installed.
Whithout the NVIDIA you can look for an SVGA connection, or HDMI to connect your screen that are on the motherboard.
I know it is a bit work, but that is how you can test those things.
So if you see the red dots in your diagnose, and you want to know what it means, just make a screenshot and we can look if we can find something.
That is all in code.
So, you see this error code, but if you can recover this, has to do with the hardware to.
It seams that you have to deal with:
The error code 0x80070057 can be related to storage or the file system
I had this problem today when I imported a midi file recorded in Yamaha Genos. The problem was occurring when I tried to load instruments into slots: the slot had a red x in square indicating that it was loading, but the sound could be played nevertheless. Then when I closed Halion 7 and opened again the loading was done like normal. Also when I tried to reload a different instrument, the above mentioned error message appeared Cubase suggested to save the project as a new copy. Finally, I deleted Sysex track ( it was imported with other midi tracks from Genos) from a new project before adding Halion. No problems so far occurred and everything works as expected.
After months of faffing about, with Steinberg suggesting all manner of tests, settings, adjustments and other solutions that did no good, they have just sent me this:
“Development responded already and told me that this is a known issue.
It could be caused by a large desktop coupled with a miscalculation of the scale factor. This is hopefully going to be fixed in the next HALion maintenance update, but the workaround for now would be to reduce the window size or the OS scaling.”
So, bollocks to it. I’m going to wait for the update.
