Cubase 13 Pro - title bar and menu bar split up again?

I have changed the inactive title bar to dim grey… which helps some.

Here’s the reg key/script (save in a text file with the .reg extension):

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

;A value of 696969 = dimgrey/grey

[Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM]
“AccentColorInactive”=dword:00696969

Hi @Armand,

Is there an update on this that you can share?

Hi everyone,

First of all very sorry about the late reply.

I am no longer responsible for this area unfortunately but I have informed the relevant people that some users would like more info on this.

Thank you for not mentioning my name after this message as I can no longer affect the prioritization of this area in the DAW.

Cheers,
Armand

Is there an update on this feature? Will it be part of the Cubase 13 or as part of Cubase 14?

That’s a bit Freudian…

They give you the option to use this style or regular.

Some numbers are easier to remember I guess

It’s a good tip.

Just to add that if you enter the values manually, that number is a hexadecimal number.

Steinberg might be hesitant to use this since it’s a preview feature which could be changed in the future?

Sorry for the late response…
I’m still using the 2019 version, which I think came out in 2018, and it was in that version. So it’s been around for 6 years. It’s also in the latest release.
But it’s not the only software with this option - Vivaldi, my default browser also has it.

I don’t know this but other browsers furthermore have/had [F11] for fullscreen.

A lot of art software, too, such as PaintShopPro etc.
