Cubase 13 Rack Instrument Active Output issue

Hi family,

I am figuring out a small issue with Cubase 13 latest Update on Mac (M1-Rosseta 2)

  1. Go to Right Zone - Vsti, click to the small down-arrow of any Rack Instrument.
  2. Choose Active Outputs, to Active more Output for the Selected Rack.
  3. Every time I Active a new Output, That Window closes immediately.
As normal, the Output Selection window should open until I select enough Outputs which I will use.
Now I have to do the whole steps to active more Output.
It was much easier on Cubase 12 when it showed a small circle for us to click to, or we can select more than one Output then active them once at a time. Now it is impossible in Cubase 13.

Thank you and good day.

Hi wannabeme,
could you maybe include a screenshot of the menu in question or even a gif of the behaviour? The popup should not close upon activating/deactivating additional outputs.

Hi,

I attached a video below as you requested.

Thank you.

Hi,
Today I decided to start Cubase 13 in Safe Mode, then I chose to delete Preferences Info completely.
After this process, the issue has gone away.
So I am going to mark this topic as “Solved”

Thank you for your help.
Best of Lucks.

Hi Jendrik Seiler,

I finally figure out the main reason.
It will happen if I add EUCON to the Devices List.
So I notice here, please take a look.

Thank you.

Hi,

Do you trigger the command via EuCon somehow? Or from Cubase? Can you see any feedback from EuCon once you trigger the function?

Ass I see, EUCON will build a new channel to it’s console every time I add a new VST Output.
During this action, Cubase will return to Arranger Window Automatically.
My workaround is, de-select Vst Instrument channel from Euconized Channel type (Devices->Eucon) so that it won’t build any Vsti channel anymore.
Don’t know why it didn’t run at background, it should be much simple.
I totally understand that it may be EuCon issue, but if you don’t face it, please let me know because it means I made sth. wrong.
By the way, all the tests I did for this case is after I cleared Preferences.
Thank you.
