Cubase 13 Systemwide Plugin Issue

I originally posted as a WAVES plugin problem. listed further down the forum page. I am using Cubase 13.0.20. Mac OS sonoma. After a reinstall of WAVES I was able to get some of the waves plugins to work. BUT it happened again with the plugin OneKnob DRIVER STEREO. I ignored at and moved on to FABFILTER Saturn 2. The plugin loaded. I loaded a preset from inside the Fabfilter plugin. It worked… I just didn’t like it. I selected a different Preset. The plugin quit working, greyed-out and will not let me change it out just like in the other waves post… just like with OneKnob Driver again from above. I am thinking this is Cubase or MacOS issue now, rather than waves only.

Can anyone help other than deleting and reinstalling? This may be a bug to be reported.

Happened to me this week with waves and other plugins with Cubase 13.0.14. Random. Reinstall by clearing cache. Then it works. Then the next day it goes back to not working and other plugs affected, too. Could be Sanoma. Who knows.

I expect there will be a fix sometime just before the roll out of the next version of Cubase, that I will not purchase.

Which CPU are you running?
I experienced similar weird behaviour with Efficiency Cores. As soon as I deactivate the E-cores in BIOS, then Cubase and all Plugins runs fine.
