Hi. I’ve got 3TB left and everytime I try to record audio I get an error message saying ‘Disk is full’. Please help.
Yep, we can see that Cubase does not see the drive for recording
or your recording folder is on a drive that indeed is full or maybe security settings do not allow Cubase to write on the drive.
How do I get around that?! If its the security settings?
I mean, I am the admin and dont need to enter any passwords to start windows at the beginning
What would I need to change in the security settings to allow Cubase to write on the drive?
Honestly, I have never seen this problem before and I am just brainstorming.
Can you post a screenshot from the Pool window in order to check on which drive your recording folder is?
Yep, it is the Steinberg folder in the Program Files folder. That is not going to work, it is protected by Windows.
Please create a fresh, new project and when Cubase prompts you to “Set Project Folder”, create a new folder, name it e.g. Cubase Projects. Can be directly in the C:\ root folder. Use that one or create a subfolder in it. Then you should be ok.
Cheers mate. Legend!
