In my case the same, after testing everything including the Charge Levels, I see everything perfect in this new version 0.30
As @Thor.HOG already said, generalizations which lack factual substance - you have not even checked the update yourself - are not very productive and lead us nowhere.
C’mon, that’s no justification to go on a rant. You know better.
Let’s just stick to the facts and take it from there, okay?
Another disappointment for me. Steinberg claims to have fixed “my problem,” but I realized that wasn’t the case. Today I had the “bug” again; it’s already been reported on the forum. Another three months to wait? Or pay for the new version.
How much is SB paying you to write this nonsense? Do you even use Cubase?
Constructive criticism is useful. Whining is annoying.
Have a nice day…
The little Cubase fanboys will troll relentlessly, and piss you off to no end. They come and they go, but the forum does have some good answers every now and then. Steinberg software really does need a good house cleaning. I believe they’re trying to do too much to please too many people. They need to just focus on making this the most stable, professional system that it can be. It’s a double-edged sword because people have different computer components and performance demands that need to be met. But if Adobe had the amount of issues Cubase has, they would lose their throne. Good luck on trying to find a fix.
Well said!
Exactly!
Seriously…don’t bother updating if you haven’t already.
Jog wheel issue, add track and sends functions faults…and this is only what i’ve found after 20 mins of use. Wondering if there’s any way of downgrading?
Go to the download site from Steinberg and scroll down to the end of the page. There you find the installers for previous patch releases.
Thanks Jurgen
Trying to be positive on this, lot of bug fixes - super!
However now clicks and pops are back in my setup, as the processing overload goes into red.
With Cubase 14.0.20 I finally solved most of my issues, on 7 on-going projects.
I have a a fully updated high-spec Windows PC with 64 Gb RAM, 6 Gb Graphic Card (installed earlier to handle this issue), UAD Apollo X8 thunderbolt and UAD Apollo Twin X thunderbolt and a UAD Satellite. Windows reinstalled, and all apps reinstalled. I freeze most of my tracks. I have had several support tickets both with Universal audio and Steinberg. Now the pops and clicks are back…
In spite of this I still prefer to stay with Cubase (and UAD), however I spend more time (and money) updating my setup. instead of composing and mixing my music.
Plug in your irony-meter please.
people have good reason to be upset with this software - let them be upset & please stop aggravating them further. they are just trying to make music with the software they bought. you are being childish picking on them.
But it’s OK for you to aggravate him further? Why not just let @MattiasNYC be upset at hypocritical misinformation posts as well? Or does freedom from censure only work when you agree with someone?
buddy you’ll have to find someone else to argue about stupid stuff with - aggravating others isn’t what the forum is here for - we are here to help each other
I totally agree with that. But misinformation doesn’t help anyone, hence the push-back on his posts. Wouldn’t you agree that if people are advising against applying supported maintenance updates while saying " already a few new nasty bugs have emmerged [sic]" that the least they could do is articulate them?
You’re right, and I whole heartedly agree that people should help others - but misinformation hurts everyone, and it is perfectly reasonable to expect heated pushback when spreading such in a public forum, particularly in the absence of substantive information.
Respectfully, part of helping people should also be allowing others to express themselves their way, particularly when criticism of such expression runs contrary to the express purpose of the forum.
Read their posts in this thread and let us know how we can help them. Because not only are they void of “constructive criticism”, they are also void of showing any problem in any manner in which they can be helped.
Hello, can you simply run the previous installer or do you have to delete the 14.0.30 first?
I would uninstall first.
