Cubase 14.0.41 Pro - Rooting to Group bug - One change roots the whole project to same group

Hello,

I’m on 14.0.41 (pro).

One session has been corrupted for reasons I don’t understand. When I highlight a group of channels and press Alt + Shift and the desired group, Cubase roots the entire project to this group that I wish the highlighted tracks to be rooted to.

Using Windows 10. I tried everything. Nothing worked. Has anyone come across this issue before, if so, is there a fix?

Other sessions work fine.

Solved: The VCA Link I used for reasons I don’t understand switched to ‘Rooting’. As I used the VCA for the entire project, one root change affected all the tracks linked to this VCA, which was the entire project…
