Dear all,
I am a total newbie in terms of recording. I just got a Mac, installed cubase 14, downloaded and installed a Neural DSP plugin but do not get any sound at all. I can see that cubase recognizes an inout source and it gets recorded but I cannot hear anything. Tried google searches but no success so far. I can use the Neural DSP plugin as a stand alone however and everything works finde. Hope anyone can help me? Thanks so much!
Managed to get a direct sound now via headphones but only left and cannot “activate” the neural plugin. This is all so confusing and I really hope someone can help me here

How about when you play back what you just recorded…do you hear anything then?
If you hear direct guitar when you play it live you are probably direct monitoring which is in the interface, not Cubase. To hear an amp sim you need to turn that off (how depends on the interface) and turn on Cubase monitoring (little speaker icon next to record enable)
