Testing C14 with Melodyne configured as a Track Extension and both Clip and Event Volume changes are not reflected on playback.
However, I noticed that moving the start or end handle of an event seems to trigger an update/refresh and the audio then correctly plays with appropriate curves or volume changes (even if the start/end change is reversed via immediate Undo).
I’m guessing this is simply a problem with Cubase triggering an appropriate update to level status on ARA audio?
** This behaviour seems to be replicated when adding Melodyne after Clip/Event Volume changes have already been applied.
*** There seem to be other event/clip update issues with ARA. e.g. when applying Melodyne to a single event (i.e. not at track level) the Melodyne editor will not open unless the project is closed and re-opened.
****Removing Melodyne also sometimes does not revert to the original un-processed clip and results in two pieces of audio being played at the same time.
Of course, this might be a Melodyne specific issue rather than ARA.
