Cubase 14 Artist problems with recognizing the proper ASIO driver

Hello! I’m having an issue with Cubase 14 Artist not recognizing the proper ASIO driver — it only shows the built-in Steinberg ASIO driver. Because of this, I can’t adjust the buffer size or work with recordings.

Meanwhile, my Cubase 11 Elements recognizes the Yamaha Steinberg ASIO driver without any problems.

Reinstalling the driver didn’t help. If anyone knows a solution, I’d be grateful.

what kind of audiointerface do you use?

Are you chaning the Asio device in
Studio → Studio Setup → Audio System ?

Yes, I use this path but I can’t change it in 14 Artist version - it simply doesn’t appear there.

please make sure that the latest firmware is installed on you audiointerface

Afterwards, follow the link on the page and check if you have installed the latest driver, please.

Did you follow the instructions provided here?

Maybe this will fix it already. In case it doesn’t - what OS are you on?

Did you fully uninstall and then reinstall rather than just running the installer again?

Yes, I deinstalled and then reinstalled.

Problem is in Cubase 14 Artist itself, because in 11 Elements driver is recognized and works properly.
