Cubase 14 Bugs: Exporting & Colors

So far I have noticed 2 bugs with Cubase 14.

  1. When Exporting an Audio Mixdown, the “file format” section is only partially displayed at times.

  2. While recording in an audio track, and changing the color of the track, only the event changes color, and not the channel itself. It does however change, when the recording is stopped. Also, while recording an audio track, but when multiple channels are selected and changed color from the pallet menu, only the first channel changes color, and not all selected tracks.

Hi,

  1. Resize the Export Audio Mixdown window, please. Does your system meet the minimal system requirements (especially the screen size)?
  2. How exactly do you set the new color, please?

Hi Martin

Resizing the Export window doesn’t work on Mac silicon.

I don’t see this on all sessions, but once it’s corrupt, it stays corrupt.

Hi,

It works for me on Mac with the M1 processor.

I confirm that. Though it only happens when using the palette from the toolbar.

Regarding the second part when multiple tracks are selected, only the ones that were record-enabled get their color update when we hit stop (not just the first channel). This is only a visual glitch. When you select the track again, the color gets updated.

Sorry Martin - I think this was lost in translation!

Resizing of the window DOES work in general as you say.

What resizing doesn’t do though, is fix the graphics corruption shown in the screenshot, which is what it looked like you were saying to try to @Christiaanbez

Hi there.

  1. So it’s tricky to replicate it every time. Sometimes it displays perfectly fine, and then other times its missing the file format section. What I’ve found works, is when I choose a preset I’ve made in the file format, then the missing stuff randomly populates. I’m running a 4K 55" screen, with an Nvidia GTX1060 card. PC resolution is set to 4k.

  2. While recording, I would use the Color Palette from the menu bar.

So I’ve think I’ve found another. (Not sure if I should create a separate post each time, or can I just throw them all here as I discover? )

The marker track, has a feature called “sync selection” when you open the "markers window ". When I close the window, it does not sync selections anymore, as I select markers from the Inspector side on the left. They only Sync, as long as the markers window remains open. This happens on both my Windows Machine and Macbook.

Another problem with StudioDelay on the Mix Console. When I copy StudioDelay from one channel over to another, using “alt + dragging”, the pattern type changes, even though the actual sound of the type, hasn’t changed.
