just want to report a bug (Cubase 14): I can’t reset the rms max / peak max values in the meter within the control room. It used to work by just clicking on the numbers (just like on the meters in the mix console - this still works).
Just installed Cubase 14. Same bug, no reset when clicking under Peak Max. Worked fine in Cubase 13. Very important feature for me to control the levels.
No. I click about 100 times a day. That means a 100 extra clicks more (and no free left hand). Worked fine for years, now it´s a nuisance. Why the heck did they do this ? Should we change ?
Alt-click resets all peaks to minus infinity except the right zone meter which stopped resetting to minus infinity altogether. It hovered around minus 160.
Muted all tracks one by one. Finally narrowed the problem down to a drum track and then disabled Landr FX beats plugin inserted on that track.
When I did this the right zone meter reset to minus infinity as normal…?
No idea why that plugin was sending a tiny signal to the right zone meter when it was not even affecting the drum track it was on, or the stereo out, or any of the other tracks which all reset to total at silence at minus infinity.
