Cubase 14 channel setting bug

Just want to know if any one is experiencing this but in Cubase 14 mac OS Monterey 12.5.1

Here is the video (youtube) that demonstrates the bug, it goes by real fast:
https://youtu.be/2MttQE6OAeI

  1. Create a new empty project
  2. Create a new track
  3. open the channel setting window
  4. click on the output assign (or input) in the channel setting window

Result is that the output selection box that pops up will pop up and immediately close. You must then re-click on it, and then it will work to select the correct output.

This happens once on every new track, and then it’s ok.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: Current workaround is double clicking instead of single click so that the window closes once and then reopens.

***Confirmed on my end on Monterey and Sonoma

Hi,

I don’t see this issue in Cubase 14 on macOS 14.

Btw, Cubase 14 is not officially supported on macOS 12. Compatible are macOS Ventura, macOS Sonoma and macOS Sequoia.

Thanks for the info, I will work around it for now and I will do research on doing an update (this is a huge composer station so I don’t want to break everything with an update).

Thanks again.

Just tested this on Cubase 14 on Sonoma and the same bug exists.

Make sure to test this out that you create a NEW track everytime you do the sequence.

Hi,

I see, know.

This is giong to be fixed in the next maintenance update.

That would be great! Thanks again for the support.
