Cubase 14 crashing when trying to close the application on Mac!

Using the Cubase 14 trial version on my M1 Max Mac Studio (64gb RAM, 1TB storage)

OS version - Sequoia 15.2

Cubase works fine , until i try and quit the application

After pressing the ‘X’ (close) button on the top left of the screen, it says ‘unloading instrument xyz’

Then I right click on the mouse, and press ‘quit’ on the application icon on the dock. As soon as i press quit - it says ’ Cubase 14 quit unexpectedly’ - indicating a crash!.

It happened thrice now!

  • How long does it take for the unloading dialog to disappear?

  • What instrument is named in the dialog?

That’s by design. Ram is being released, one presumes.

I’m not on MacOS, but doesn’t that force-quit the application, which might account for the error message?
