Hi. I am using Cubase 14 to produce backing tracks for a production of ‘The Addams Family’ in surround sound. Just started post-production and hoping to use Fielder Audio Dolby Atmos Composer (Ver 1.5.10). However every time I install the Composer plug-in on my multichannel output track (7.1.4) Cubase closes. I have updated Cubase to 14.0.10 with the same outcome.
Windows 11 O/S. i14000 processor, 128Mb RAM. 2x Presonus Quantum interfaces.
Any help would be gratefully received.
John
Is the plugin version the latest one avaible?
On the next restart of Cubase, do you see the Safe Mode Dialog? If so, at the top that usually says in which module it crashed, and the path to the library. If that path is the Fiedler Atmos plugin, it is most likely a problem in the plugin and you might need to contact Fiedler Audio.
You could also upload the latest crashdump “Documents\Steinberg\Crashdumps” here, and some of us could have a look at it.
Also, there seems to be a Cubase template on the fiedler audio web site, have you tried opening that and see if it works:
Hi.
I don’t get the Safe Mode dialogue. The Cubase template crashes the program when loading. The crash dump file is too large to upload (limit seems to be 4Mb.
I have contacted Fielder Audio and they are looking into it as well. I am happy to get the Crash Dump file to anyone who might wish to see it…
Sorry - missed the first question - the Composer version is 1.5.10 - latest one.
