Cubase 14 does not display muted audio

I just downloaded the Cubase 14 trial and I immediately noticed that when I go into Events to Part and mutate parts of the audio recording. When I exit Events to Part it doesn’t show which parts were mutated. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi,

I’m not sure, I understand the two different views.

One is the Sample Editor, where you can see the Muted parts and the other one is the Project window, where you can’t see it. Am I right?

That is a known issue and will be fixed with the next maintenance release. At least so I was told by somebody who should know.

Yes. When you exit the Sample Editor into the project, you don’t see which parts have been mutated.

I can confirm, this is goint to be fixed in te upcoming maintenance update.

I would like the muted status of parts to show as such in project window, yes, but
As of now:
The muted clips in a part is not shown as muted in the project window; as stated by others here, but

  • open them in the part editor does show muted status, and
  • Played back in project window is taking the muted status, and do not playback.
