Cubase 14 does not find my Soundcard UAX-25

I am using UAX-25 on my Windows 11, 64 bit laptop together with Audacity and it works allright. Now I have bought Cubase 14 but I can not make Cubase 14 find it. What can I do to make it work?

Check ASIO Driver Selection in Cubase

  • Open Cubase, go to Studio > Studio Setup.
  • In the left panel, select Audio System.
  • On the right, check the drop-down next to ASIO Driver. Make sure your device’s dedicated driver (not the generic one) is selected.​
  • If your device is not listed, the driver may not be properly installed or recognized.

Windows 11 Privacy Settings for Audio

  • Open Start > Settings > Privacy & security.
  • Go to Microphone under App permissions and ensure Microphone access is on.​
  • Enable Let apps access your microphone.
  • For Cubase (a desktop app), make sure Let desktop apps access your microphone is enabled. This controls audio input access for non-Store apps like Cubase.​
