Dear Steinberg, for the love of God PLEASE put an ‘always on top’ option on the editor window, the mixer window and the score window!
I upgraded from 12 to 14 last week and assumed that this would have been an additional option by now given the number of people asking for it over the years.
Yes I totally agree that the docked lower editor window can be useful for some people but a lot of people also find it too small and restricting. I have a large monitor and I like to be able to open the whole editor window and stretch it out so I can see more - which I can already do obviously, but as soon as I click anywhere on the main screen it vanishes - which drives me crazy and seriously interrupts my work flow
I’m aware that I can of course use the mobile transport panel and it won’t vanish but this is just another thing to get in the way and have to move about. I want to be able to use the usual upper and lower transport bars and click anywhere on the main screen without it making the editor window disappear.
‘Always on top’. Is this too much to ask?
