Hi,
I recently crossgraded to N14 from C14 since I’ve been getting lots of audio post work. I noticed this peculiar bug:
When loading a session started in C14 (.cpr) in N14, it would load normally but I would experience pretty significant graphic lags when splitting and/or moving events. These lags were only in Nuendo and would happen regardless of ASIO load (and in fact in some pretty lightweight projects that my system handles smoothly in Cubase).
I tried several things to fix this, graphics driver updates and tweaks, power management, Nuendo tweaks, etc. to no avail.
Eventually I narrowed it down to this: if the project had started in Cubase and was loaded into Nuendo from a .cpr file, I would get the lags—even after saving it in Nuendo and loading the .npr file. But if I started a new project in Nuendo and imported the tracks from the .cpr, the lags would disappear.
Mentioning it in case anyone else is having similar issues since the workaround is pretty easy. Hopefully someone at Steniberg can take a look.
Loving the audio post features btw, Nuendo really makes working with audio-to-picture much easier!
