Hi ![]()
I have a problem with C14 that I cannot solve myself
I am already in contact with Waves support about this, but the devil seems to be in the details. I have a project that I need to finish in the next few days, but I can’t load it.
Technical details: C14 (actual version), macOS 15.7.1, Intel-based
Description:
I have a project here where I used plugins from Waves (V14). Cubase crashed while I was working on the project. Unfortunately, this is nothing new. However, the project could no longer be opened.
When Cubase loads the tracks and continues towards the master bus, Cubase closes itself. I checked the console on my Mac and found out that it was the Waves plugins I used in the project. Attached is a picture with an excerpt from the log.In Safe Mode, of course, it works without third-party plugins.
I have already tested several steps:
- updated Cubase
- performed OS updates
- performed plugin updates
Since this was not successful, I contacted Waves support. However, I have not had any real success so far.
- tried Waves Repair Mode
- completely removed Waves plugins (cleanup)
- completely downloaded and reinstalled the plugins
When I create a new project, load the Waves plugins, save and close…and then reopen the project, everything loads correctly.
There are some major problems with the project I am currently working on.
I hope someone here is familiar with this problem. I will fix it as soon as possible to finish my project ![]()
