Unfortunately, the same VST instrument performance instability issues exist in Cubase 14 as in 13, 12, 11, 10 etc.
The new performance analysis info is interesting, but it doesn’t actually solve anything.
If I load the virtual instruments in an external VST host like Vienna Ensemble or Audiogridder (locally, on the same system as Cubase), the performance stability issues are non-existent.
Why is the performance not stable when they are loaded directly within Cubase, but is totally stable when they are loaded in an external VST host?
I can’t make sense of this, or why this has not been resolved in such a long time, over several versions.
