VST Rack Pro/Elements is included as a complimentary app with Cubase 14 Pro but when any of the effects are opened I get an error message that the software isn’t activated so it can’t be used. I can’t find help for this anywhere.
I don’t think this is included with Cubase Pro. Maybe you have an older license for it that was elicenser based and need the update to Steinberg licensing version?
VST Rack is a separate software. It is not included in Cubase. It never was.
If you saw it in Steinberg Download Assistant and downloaded it, do note that it’s under the category of Complementary (instead of Complimentary) Products.
There are three products under “Complementary Products”, DDP Player, Immerse with VST AmbiDecoder and VST Rack Pro/Elements 2. The first 2 products install and open fine. The third, VST Rack installs fine but then says it isn’t activated. I guess my interpretation of Complementary Products is different from Steinberg’s. Sorry for the goofy question.
VST Rack is a Yamaha product, not a Steinberg one.
