Cubase 14 Recording Dropouts and Vocal Offset Issue

I really need your help because I’m going crazy these past few days with all the issues I’ve been having on Cubase 14.
For several weeks now, whenever I record vocal takes, the recording often stops abruptly and a message pops up in the middle of the screen saying there’s an audio dropout. I have no idea how to fix it, and it’s driving me mad because I just can’t make any progress.

On top of that, during today’s vocal sessions, I noticed sudden drops in the backing track volume while recording — as if the sound was cutting out, but without any crackling noise — and when I listen back to the takes, I realize that the vocals gradually go out of sync with the music as the take goes on.

I don’t know if these problems are related to the two recent updates (one about a month ago and another one yesterday).
Also, I still can’t fix the issue where my backing vocals panned to the left end up sounding in the center (there’s no automation enabled, and I get the same result with or without effects).

I don’t know if these three problems are connected, but it’s starting to feel like a lot.
Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks in advance, and have a great evening everyone.

Hi,

It would be interesting to know what happened at that time. Any (silent) OS update?

If you are on Windows, could you test your system by using LatencyMon utility, please?

Does increasing the Audio Device’s Buffer Size help?

Do you use (or have installed) any plug-in in the DEMO/Trial mode by any chance?
