Cubase 14 Score editor force stem direction

Hi,
At the VOICES of a SCORE track, I can not change the STEM DIRECTION → ‘force stems down’ or ‘prefer stems down’ or any of the settings, does not really make a difference, the stems stay as they are, also not when I have 2 different voices on one track.
Am I overlooking something?

This should work. Can you provide a small project that shows where this is failing for you?
