Cubase 14 score, ending repeats adjustment not working

i try for 30 min and its killing me here, how to do this simple adjustment ?
i need to size the start of the first repeat line to the “Am” chord so it will have 3 bars on first repeat , but when try to drag and size , the repeats signs jump and move , and misplace everything randomly.. its frustrating !!
tried to drag with modifiers etc…, but with no success

back to Cubase 13 for this task than !
although i have Dorico 5 elements, but I’m not into it yet
