Hi,

I will update my macOS 14 to macOS 15 during the upcoming week. Then I will test it on my side and report it, if I will be able to reproduce it.

I tested this out on my MacBook running macOS 15.5. Unfortunately I do not have Halion 7 but I do have the Halion Sonic 7. I’m able to search it while seeing the cursor move and the text in the placeholder.

Please let me know if I’m missing something else.

Well. Greg live stream is about 4 hours and it was one time. But it was and it’s the bug. It’s no so important which instrument you are searching. Sometimes this search blinking line is the search area doesn’t work.. you steal put the text but you will don’t see it… I think that my video is correct about this problem. And also I can put the timecode on the last Cubase stream..in this stream you also will see on Gregs Mac that this line is not visible…

Hello. Well. You should check it once again and more times. Check the Greg Ondo last Cubase stream. It was two - three times on his Mac as well. I am not only the one with this bug. And it’s the reason why I was attached the screen from his computer on his stream…

Search working also if you don’t see the blinking line. So, you should be attention to this blinking line which don’t always in the search area. And if you will write the text when this line is not showing you will don’t see the text which you typing…

This bug is really annoying… I am using search function all the time…
Sorry, but here is another video from today Gregs stream. As you can see NO search blinking line in the search menu. It’s random bug. Not only on my Mac

Unfortunately we still don’t have a clear steps, how to replicate the issue.

That’s the very bad news :frowning: But did someone from Steinberg team reproduced this issue? Or it’s just for me and Greg Ondo?

Updated to Cubase Pro 15 and Tahoe. This annoying bug is still here! :frowning:
