I‘m using Cubase 14 and it has been working flawlessly up untill this week. Now when I’m trying to close the wndow of soothe, soothe 2 or trackspacer plugins they causes cubase to freeze. Plugns seem to work, but just can’t close them.
I’m using a pretty high spec Asus ROG pc with windows 11.
Anyone else experienced this? All help is highly appreciated

What has happened since then? Any update? Maybe a (silent) Windows update? The plug-in update?
Could you please attach the *.dmp file, so we can take a look, if the crash happens in Cubase or the plug-in?

It doesn’t make any crash dump file when this happens…not in that folder at least, I checked…
Only thing I can think of is windows 11 update to 25H2 but that was a month ago…I think I have used these plugins since that without any issue….
Also in general Cubase 14 has gotten slower in general with laging a bit on opening and closing plugins, slower visual update to frequency spectrums etc
It doesn’t help you troubleshoot, but I can say on my old and slow machine (specs up there somewhere) I can close Soothe and everything stays just fine in C14.

So, this is a first time, for me at least. Usually it’s this comunity and all you skilled people in here that find the solution. I searched youtube for windows 11 lagging and deactivated some windows animation stuff and programs running in the background they recomended in the videos and now everything runs smooth again Thought I’d let you know in case someone else runs into the same issue. Cubase forever is back in my mindset
