4 days ago working away on a project on Cubase 14 and went into Splice, using bridge etc etc. Samples now only playing if I physically click on Splice bridge channel, which prior to this wasn’t the case, channel only needed to be highlighted. Discovered its also happening with Loopcloud. have tried all fixes, reinstalled apps etc, still happening and disrupting work flow. So went onto Cubase 13 to see if it was happening on there too, but no it works fine as it should. I’ve uninstalled Cubase 14 and done a fresh install and its still happening. Splice customer service has no idea why this is happening so can’t help. Seems it’s clearly a Cubase 14 issue. Anybody had this issue?
Hi and welcome to the forum,
When you select the track, it becomes Record Enabled automatically. This is probably the key.
Try to click on the Disable All Mute States and Disable All Solo States buttons.

Hi and thank you,
I’ll give that a go and get back to you
Hi,
I had this issue, I fixed it by unchecking “release Driver when application is in Background”.
Its in Studio Setup - Audio System.
By default, this is unchecked in Cubase 13.
