Cubase 14 transport panel

does anyone know why the tab command no longer steps between settings in the transport panel in cubase 14 pro ? In previous versions, If I highlighted the left locator and typed in a value then pressed the tab key, focus would jump to the right locator, that made it easy to set start and end ranges, this no longer works, pressing ‘tab’ doesnt do anything now

Thanks very much for bringing this up!

I have the same problem. I am used to enter the left locator, pressing TAB and then enter the right locator. This worked well with Cubase 12 and 13, but unfortunately not in C 14.

Maybe one has to define the settings of the key somewhere?

I only wish I knew where

For me, pressing Tab twice does the job in Cubase 14.

thanks mlib.

have you changed anything? Or are you using “C14Pro Standard”?

Im using cubase 14 pro, havent changed anything it just doesnt work anymore

@Steinberg: is this a new “feature”?

thanks

I am missing the TAB-Key also in other areas.

Probably this is related to the focussed application in Windows 11. Has something changed in comparison to C 13?

THANKS

Shift+R/L to highlight locator-setting, press nr, and return! Has allways been my methode.

Thanks Buer, that helps for the locators.

I am facing the same behavior in the Audio Export dialogue. I enter the name of the target file and want to jump to the next entry field with the TAB-key, but this doesn’t work either.

So something in the basic behavior must have changed. I would be happy about the solution, because TAB-Key is Windows standard.

I think that the audio export/mixdown window is a complex window with many different features (dropdown menus, tick boxes etc) so it’s hard to set up just the tab for selections. I use my mouse for selection anyway.

Thanks, but it works well with C12 Pro and C13Pro. So something might have changed
