Thank you for fixing the undo automation function! Cubase #WINS
Same here, never encountered any trouble.
The only tweak I had to make under audio set up when I first used the CB15 trial was to delete unassigned outputs in the control room to make the project preview button work.
I deleted unassigned phones and cue send outputs from the control room in order to make the preview work. I guess I could try deactivating the control room completely and use stereo out only to see if the freeze problem resolves.
I must say that one shouldnāt have to delete outputs in the control room just to get preview to work, so thereās something not right about that. Suboptimal at least!
This is possible in Studio One. Right-click on the MIDI part and select Convert MIDI Part to Pattern.
The drum pattern editor in particular is much easier to use than the other editors.
I only use the pattern editor for drums now.
I have a lot of drum MIDI files and would like to convert them.
This is even possible in Groove Agent 6 SE.
I see Omnivocal has an update ā¦One of the features I purchased Cubase 15 Pro for, so am excited to see how this matures with each update into a useful app.
My Integrated Loudness Meter isnāt working after the update. Any idea why?
Missing stats below meter? I had this - I think itās a bug with Control Room.
Turn control room on and then turn off showing the controls below the meter - stats will come back.
Those and lots more. How long do you have?
MIDI Remote is one of the most crushingly irritating pieces of this software. What was supposed to be a decluttering and modernization became a bloated, buggy, unwieldy mess.
Switching between MIDI Remote and traditional MIDI learn when switching tracks is also real chore, as Iāve posted previously.
Cubase and now Nuendo have really shaken my faith in āGerman Engineeringā to the point I wish the Germans would kindly stop referring to it as a point of pride: engineering is engineering, and theyāre falling on their faces at least as often as anyone else in the world.
I was sure hoping Japanese engineering (Yamaha) would improve the situation, but they seem mostly hands off (and as the former owner of a Montage, they have their own set of problems to address).
I hate to say it, but I think dealing with this software over the years has almost entirely killed my desire to make music and my productivity has slowed to a crawl.
There have just been so, so many misses over the years, not the least of which is this constant churning out of new versions with new bugs while most of the old ones still exist and will never be fixed in the versions in which they were introduced.
Then you have Steinberg for YEARS playing the denial game about the performance issues on Windows: it took some dedicated geeks on this forum proving beyond any doubt that they have a problem by using audiogridder as a wrapper to force their (muted) capitulation on the topic.
I really, really hope this company finds it in themselves to somehow improve, but I can no longer hold my breath. Pursuing other things in life mostly for now and only lurking occasionally.

Still not fixed:
(sorry, donāt have the time to write a full issue report atm)
Well expressed
Love the update notification in the Hub. Is this a new v15 feature? Helps a ton if I am not messing around in the forums.
Now if the downloader and activation apps can just all be put into the HUB or Mediabay. That would be freakin sweet and no more messing around with multiple apps. ![]()
Indeed it is.
If the downloader would be in the hub, you couldnāt download Cubase without having Cubase already.
Except website downloads of course, but Downloaders exist to save the user from searching downloads on websites.
It would be one Cubase installer from your online account. Then everything else after that. No different than the way Bitwig, and other DAWs do it. You get the main installer and that takes care of everything. You pick and choose the content you want while in the main Cubase Hub. So the downloader becomes part of Cubase\Hub.
Warp markers from hit points are still not workingā¦.hold onā¦
If I spam the create warp markers from hit points button enough times, it works ![]()
I need to make sure edit hitpoints is selected, Then spam the button about 10 times to populate ALL the warp markers. Three times is not enough.
Not all Steinberg customers are Cubase users.
I see one strange degrade from 15.0.6 to 15.0.10 and is the refresh-rate on my MCU controllers time display has dropped a lot. Usually similar drops can be seen with a lot of graphics going on. But on 15.0.10 it also happen with only the project window open. (intel/mac)
Has anyone else experienced bad effects with this update ??
