Hello, I like to switch back and forth between the MIDI record modes “Replace” and “Merge” under the “Linear & Cycled MIDI Recording” section when working in Cubase. However, I’ve noticed that when I select “merge” and try to record in MIDI cc data on multiple selected tracks, it crashes Cubase. I noticed that with version 15.0.20 and even with the latest 15.0.21.
Here are the steps:
- Create an empty project (or open existing project).
- Create and select two new instrument tracks (or highlight two instrument tracks from an existing project).
- Record enable or arm these instrument tracks.
- Select the “Merge” mode in the “Linear & Cycled MIDI Recording”
- Press “Record” on timeline and start moving faders that are assigned to cc11, cc1 (modwheel) or cc7.
- Cubase crashes.
Here are my specs;
