I’m assuming this is user error in some way, but just in case I thought I’d post my issue here. I’ve been aware of it since upgrading both Cubase to 15.0.20 and also the UAD software in the last couple of weeks (along with an incremental update to macOS Tahoe 26.4.
I’m running my Apollo X4 with a Focusrite Octopre, to access eight ADAT input channels along with the four inputs of the X4. All has been fine for the best part of a year. Now, suddenly, in the Cubase studio setup, I can no longer see (or therefore choose) the four Apollo inputs. I can only see the ADAT channels from the Octopre. When I check in the UAD Console application, all appears normal: four Apollo inputs and eight ADAT inputs from the Octopre. But not in Cubase. If I disconnect the Octopre, I can still only see the ADAT inputs - which should not be there - and still no Apollo inputs. I’ve reinstalled Cubase and UAD software. I’m pulling out what’s left of my hair. Has anyone else come across this or something similar?
Steve.
