Cubase 15.0.20 Import Audio File Issue

First of all, this is a great update especially because of the Folder/Group function. Thank you for this functionality.

But now I have the issue, that importing mutliple Audiofiles is not working anymore. Either from the menu nor by marking multiple files and droping the into Cubase. It only imports the first marked file. Now I have to Import 100 Files from a recording session one by one. :frowning:

Or did I miss something?

Now this option is inside the ‘import options’ window.

Thanks for your feedback. But these options do not have any influence. The first is used to ensure all audio files are copied to the project. The second means if I copy multiple audio files they are copied into one track.

I want to copy e.g. 35 audio files into 35 different tracks with one call. THis does not work. There is always only the first file copied.

Hi, can you check if these files are in the pool already? And if yes, can you remove them from the pool first and try again?

If it fails again, can you check if the files are imported into the pool at least, or are they not imported at all?

Cheers Dirk

I have this option not set and all audio files I drag to the project are dropped to diferent tracks.

Thanks for your reply. I will check this again on an empty project.

I checked again. The option dialog box disappeared. I made it available again via Editing > Audio > On Import Audio File > Open Options Dialog.. Now it works. I never changed that before ….

Thanks again.

I haven’t changed the import options either, always used the dialog box, but I noticed with 15.0.20 that without the dialog box, import did import all the files, but to one track, end to end. I had only about twenty files, so it was merely annoyning to drag everything to different tracks, but with much more files, I definitely understand frustration.
