Cubase 15.0.20, missing Loops & Sample

Hi all Cubase friends. After upgrade to 15.0.20 pro i miss my Loops & Samples categories in the Media tab. Please look at the attached picture.

If I press the dot-line symbol at the right I can see the loops:

I have had several problems with the Steinberg Media Library, but managed to fix missing instruments and vsti by moving library from default to a new folder and back again. But it does not restore my Loops and Samples correct. Is there any of you out there that have had a similar problem? Or can help me out of this without fully restore everything?

Should be no need to do that. It sounds like Cubase is confused about the libraries location. You can use the Steinberg Library Manager to see where it thinks a library’s files should be located. You can also use it to move a library to a new location. And that’s fine for a couple of files. But the simplest thing to do, especially for multiple libraries is in your OS go to the location where the .vstsound are stored. Then double+click on any .vstsound file. This will cause the Library Manager to register all the .vstsound files it finds in that folder and all its sub-folders.

Thanks for answer.

I’ve tried your suggestion, but answer is that it’s already registrated:

My VST Sound folder is this:

Looks like I’ve messed up something within the library, but cannot find a way to repair it.

Hi,
please start the Steinberg Download Assistent. It will update all related components including MediaBay during launch. Maybe your MediaBay needs an update.

Hi and thanks for reply. I’ve downloaded the full installation (SDA) with everything reinstalled. Did not help. It’s confusing.

Indeed, that’s confusing. Everything looks fine in your screenshots.
If you open an instance of Halion (Sonic) - does it show the program icons in the internal MediaBay to the right? Just trying to narrow it down. @raino’s suggestion would have been my best guess, too.

Yes, Halion works fine, both stand-alone and inside Cubase as VSTi, But not Groove Agent. It’s the loops and Samples category that is missing. Looks like the Steinberg Library Manager do not tell Cubase where these samples are in a correct manner. Both installation and samples are on my C:drive

Hello again all.

I did a full uninstall of everything. Deleted folders containing Steinberg files. Downloaded a fresh install of Steinberg Download Assistant and fully reinstalled everything. Now all looks fine and seems to be working as it should. I think this was easier than using more days on searching for a faulty file structure somewhere. (My projects is stored on another disk drive so all ok) Thanks to all of you coming with tips and hints.
