I have a iMac Retina 5K 2019 running Sequoia 15.7.5 with two external monitors through a Razer Core X Egpu and I’ve just installed Cubase 15.0.20. If I move the project window to one of the other monitors, the playhead disappears, not to reappear unless I close the project and open it again. The project still plays, but I can’t see where it’s currently located. The playhead will .This does not happen in Cubase 14.0.41, and I have not had this behaviour on any previous Cubase versions. Does anyone have an idea what might be going on?
I disabled gpu acceleration in the preferences → user interface and that seems to have solved the problem.
The solution turns out to be not exactly perfect as the playhead doesn’t move smoothly and parts of the screen are not always updated.
