I just installed Cubase Pro 15.0.5 All of my projects are taking up to a minute to load or to save. In addition, Cubase Pro 15.0.5 is crashing periodically, but almost all of the time when quitting the program and after taking up to a couple of minutes to complete saving the project to disk.
I am using a MacBook Pro M1 (2021) w/ 64GB RAM, 8TB SSD. Cubase 14 worked flawlessly. Cubase 15 is virtually useless at this point.
Any ideas what could be the problem?
I have a similar situation on Mac Mini M4. The program freezes during steam separation. However, that’s not the end of the problems. Cubase crashes when I click on the hot swap button in the sampler window. At the moment, I don’t think the program is stable, and I don’t feel confident working with it. Cubase 14 worked very well on my system. I never had this problem once.
The same thing happens to me, with Windows 11 and PC.
Especially when I start plugins with large libraries.
Using VST on my M2 Studio slows Cubase down to a halt for me since updating to Tahoe 26.1
