Hello all! On Steinberg website it is stated that the grace period for those who purchased 14 Pro is after October 8 2024. I Just purchased 14 (on september 2025) and the 15 is nowhere to be found on my products or download assistant under my products. What should I do? Thanks!
I think September is before October. Therefore unfortunately you would not apply for the grace period.
no, pay attention to the year please. Grace period is after october 2024! twenty twenty four.
I purchased on September 2025. twenty twenty five
LOL. You are right. They made a mistake. It is meant to be 2025.
@Matthias_Quellmann : You might wanna correct the typo. ![]()
oh man! that is so sad. Since I’ve never participated or payed attention to grace periods before, it never crossed my mind that an entire year of grace period would be (of course) a typo. I missed it for about 20 days (
) so unfair…they still should give me a Code for pointing that typo and to make me go from very happy to very heart broken in a minute LOL. Thanks anyway for replying (I was very desperate to understand that).
Hey, it is not so bad.
My grandmother once won the national lottery - she had all the right numbers. Then we realized she forgot to actually buy the lotto ticket for that week.
You lost a hundred Euro, she lost a million back then.
@Johnny_Moneto
Thinking about it: If you were the heir to that money you could have bought major shares of Steinberg. What would Cubase look like by now, which feature request would have been prioritized…?
Haha, by all means, don’t answer this question - there is no right answer that will meet everyone’s expectations. Today’s release of C15 and the latest posts in this forum exquisetly corrobate this theory ![]()
Not to hijack this topic, but I have Cubase 13 Pro, and I bought Cubase 14 update on September the 3rd. I didn’t activate the license. If I activate it now, will I get the grace period for a free version 15 update?
Hi @Aleque ,
if you haven’t used the Download Access Code by now then you will be the happy owner of Cubase 15 - congrats ![]()
BTW: I am sure you bought the update for Cubase 14 back then, little typo…![]()
Thanks! It seems to have worked. And you are right. Typo corrected.
