Cubase 15 available now

I am very interest that, but can not understand how to get that text inside pianoroll from vst protocol, its private API or public vst API?

I completely agree, I’ve been looking at Pro Tools, even the $10 a month option would probably cut it. If you play guitar or anything else that needs a microphone or a DI, Steinberg shows no mercy.

You don’t have to use it. It’s in beta. You’re free to ignore it. It might get better, it might not. Considering directions that a lot of other competitors have gone into, I’d say that this isn’t the worst.

Well, none of the new features are available to me and I’m not so sure issues that were present since version 12 were addressed either. But it’s nice to see Steinberg taking some features from Studio One that aren’t their better Chord Track implementation like stem separation.

??? What if someone needs another license for work during that month?

Also, the comparison charts are a bit meh on this one:

What ā€œlimitedā€ means in this context? The early chart showed exactly the amount of tracks you had for each version.

The fact we can have a dark black theme is worth the upgrade for me!! Job well done team!!!

I just updated to Cubase 15! it’s Amazing work! It feels fantastic. Huge thanks and props to the whole team!

…By the way, I upgraded from Cubase 12 (I purchased 13 and 14 but ended up skipping them), and I noticed that the Shift + Mouse Wheel scroll direction seems to be reversed now!?
Do you know when this behavior changed? Was this introduced in one of the versions I skipped?

I read somewhere that there’s now supposedly an option to invert that with this latest release.

Ah! I found it!! thank you so much!:folded_hands:

Editing → Invert Direction for Horizontal Scrolling

Since it’s a new default behavior, I think I’ll try getting used to the new horizontal scroll direction!

All in all, a successful update.

Nevertheless, I do have something to complain about.

Immediately after the release of Cubase 14, some users expressed the wish to be able to convert MIDI parts into patterns.

Unfortunately, this is still not possible in Cubase 15. I don’t think it would take a genius to implement this feature.

Please add it in the first maintenance update.

Strangely enough, it is possible in Groove Agent 6 SE.

Otherwise, good work.

You still can’t save patterns as presets either from my understanding? If so, it’s truly pathetic how they don’t implement this.

Hi.

On the system requirements page:

I’m assuming it’s a typing error but just wont to make sure.

Thanks.

Hi, Will Cubase 15 Pro work with Mac OS Ventura (13) or is it strictly Mac OS 14 and above? Thanks.

ONly asking because Google says it will ( but not with Steinberg hardware; which I don’t have )

Yes it is. @Matthias_Quellmann has confirmed elsewhere that Windows 10 22H2 is supported.

Yearly upgrades is cringe. (Subscriptions are worse) Like an iPhone that has a new number but almost no extra value. Lowers the value imo. Feels wrong. I don’t want a new number version. Cash grab vibes.

And I needed help the other day and contacted customer service. Wow, truly sad. The lack of care and support was actually disturbing and gross. I contacted Waves for an issue and got amazing tech support.
