Updating to Cubase 15, my colors got reset. No problem, I copied the values manually from 14 to 15, however, I noticed now the CC lanes contrast is way off. Seems trying to edit the grid lines, or anything doesn’t help. Using a white background like I’ve been using since Cubase 8, the cc lanes now in Cubase 15 is hard to read and can’t make them darker and visible.
They told me in version 15.0.5 that they had logged this issue and would fix it in the next update. Today, version 15.0.6 was released—yet the problem remains. I initially thought it might be due to having multiple versions of Cubase coexisting on my computer, but after checking the release notes, I found no mention of this issue at all—neither in the list of resolved items nor in the known issues.
yes it’s very difficult to see. I can’t believe it’s so light, almost non existent! I’m working on the sustain pedal right now and I have no idea when it’s up or down.
The colors are so FUBAR’d in 15 that I went back to 14. I highly doubt it’ll get fixed.
(There are about 100 items in Cubase development that I could point to as needing work. The system for picking colors in the interface didn’t need work at all. For me, it was perfect. So, I don’t understand why they screwed this up, or how so many people looked at it and thought it was a good idea. Reminds me of when Cakewalk was moving towards being touch screen capable, so that might be the future for Cubase? I don’t really care. I just want the ability to adjust my colors as it was before.)
