Cubase 15 Color Scheme MIgration From Previous Versions

Hi,

I’m trying to copy the same color scheme I had In Cubase 13 and prior versions to Cubase 15, but it seems very difficult. "“Color Schemes” is now called “General Colors” in C15.

I don’t understand the new color settings: are values in HSV or something else?

How do I convert this:

to this:
C15

I can’t seem to get remotely close to the colors I want. Not sure why they keep changing this every few versions. C9.5 seemed to be the last most stable with these settings, followed by 10.5 when they changed it again.

Yes, this has been often beend criticized here since C15 was released.

I don’t think anyone here understands why they chose to dumb down the color dialog to the current state, with no labels at all that leaves a user wondering “what am I dealing with here, what are those numbers”… especially considering that there are a lot of other areas and bugs that definitely needed work. Maybe there was a reason behind it, but it is definitely not obvious, and I doubt that they did proper user testing on it…

What would have been really useful imho is to have a list of recently used colors, or a list of favorite colors in the dialog.

I’ve already complained about this here. I don’t know either what :ogre: possessed the Cubase 15 developers to create this :face_vomiting: color settings dialog.
