So, when working in a project, I get the wheel of doom (Mac) after a random command, from clicking on a fader to opening an EQ. After force quitting the project and opening it again, I get the option to open a backup - great - but no! then the project gets saved as a new version -01 but it doesn’t open, and I get the “invalid project file message”. When checking the newly saved file it says zero bytes!! Anyone else having a similar issue???

Did Cubase/macOS create the *.ips file, please? If yes, could you attach it?
Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
