Been having problems with the new expression maps. When I make one, say, for the violins, I add legato, staccato, and pizzicato for example, but then when I go to change the articulation in the key editor, I only see staccato. This happens with other instruments, too: Oboe, I can only see two articulations, instead of the three or more that I put on it.
Also, sometimes, when I click on the articulations tab in the key editor, it doesn’t even open to begin with: If someone has a fix for this, that’d be great.
Yeah of course, should’ve done that. Can’t find a way to send the expression map file (won’t let me import it into the message) So I took a few screenshots. But basically as you can see, my expression map is configured correctly with this instance of Music (or so I think: never mind about the keyswitches in Musio being C1 and it being C0 in the map, Musio uses C-1 to C9, and Cubase uses C-2 to C8, so that’s just how I made up for it.) As you can see in the last screenshot, in the articulations tab in the key editor, there’s tremolo and snap pizz, when there should be quite a few more options down there.
To see the list of all articulations, click on the “Group 1” event in the Controller lane. This unfolds the Group, and you can see the articulation per line.
If you want to see the given articulation in the Info Line under the Articulation, change the articulation type from Direction to Attribute. See attached screenshot, please.
Maybe the info line label should ideally say “Attribute Articulations” instead of just “Articulations”, to clarify that it is only supposed to show the attributes.
I am having a similar issue, though changing Articulations from Direction to Attribute has not made it possible to use any articulations. I can see all the articulations, but clicking on them does nothing, and drawing into the articulation lines is not possible. I know the Expression map is working, but it is not possible to apply any of the articulations.
