Just had some issues related to XML file corruption which became visible after Cubase 15 install. I had three of what appeared to unrelated software failure 1: Retrologue licence not found and 2: Dorico 6 Elements would not open and 3: Cubase not finding audio drivers. All of which resolved after removing all my Cubase 15 preference files and letting it rebuild on next boot.
Can anyone advise which XML files Cubase 15 install would pull from previous versions and if there is an install method to prevent the reuse of previous Cubase versions XML files. I seem to recall before the days of Download assistance you used to have an install choice of keeping your existing preference or a clean install.
Need to understand this to backtrack to the file corruption to see if cause can be identified.
