Greeting everyone, kinda ran into a problem with my new cubase 15. Recently upgraded to Cubase 15, and as soon as I opened my first project and added like 8 tracks, cubase started graining, like almost blurry. I run nvidia rtx 2080. Any of you guys had the similar problem, how do I fix this, like my cubase window gets grained, and there’s of the daw are fine. Thx
I think I recall seeing a similar looking screenshot in the Forum a few (??) years ago. Maybe a forum search will help find that post.
With nvidia cards you want to make sure to use the studio & not the gaming driver.
Raino is right. It has been discussed before. It is caused by a sharpening function of the graphics card. Switching off sharpening in the nVidia control panel solves it.
On second glance that looks like the Klingon version of Cubase.

tried that, unfortunetly didnt help. Ive seen something about changing something in 3D setting also didnt work. Thx for the reply tho. Anyone has any other suggestions?
Use Nvidia Studio driver.
in Nvidia App, change the following:
Global:
-
Power Management → Prefer Maximum Performance
-
Low Latency Mode → OFF
-
Threaded Optimisation → Auto
-
V-Sync → OFF
-
G-sync → OFF
-
OpenGL Mode → Compatible
Assuming you’re on Win11:
• Disabled Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling
• Set your Power Plan to “Maximum” or “Unlimited” Performance. Also make sure to set the minimum and maximum for CPU to 100% in the settings.
Ideally you want to download Latency Monitor and run it for a bit on your system to see if the GPU is causing any issues with drivers.
